THE LORD IS SAYING . . .

And the Lord would say, “Multitudes are in the valley of decision. This is a deciding time for Cuba.

Will Cuba shift into revival and become a ‘good neighbor’ of the United States, or move toward terrorism and align its communist philosophy with Islam, Iran, Iraq, and Palestine?

“MY SALVATION” IS ON THE WAY TO CUBA

My righteousness draws forth speedily toward Cuba. My salvation is on the way. My arm will bring justice to that nation. The island will look to Me and will wait and hope for My arm …

Awake, awake!

Clothe yourself with strength, O arm of the Lord. Awake as in the days gone by as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rehab to pieces? Who pierced that monster through? We call on you, O God, in the waters between Miami and Cuba that there will be a cutting of Rehab, a cutting in the judgment of Rehab in the waters between Cuba and Miami. Was it not You who dried up the sea, the waters of the great deep? Who made a road in the depths of the sea so that the redeemed might cross over. We speak forth that road, that bridge, between Miami and Cuba that will be created by the Lord so the redeemed can cross over that bridge and we speak it forth in the name and in the mighty blood of the Lord Jesus.” (Prophesying from Isaiah 51 and Joel 3.)

WHAT THE PROPHETS ARE SAYING OF CUBA AND FIDEL CASTRO

When we arrived at the Apostolic Council of Prophetic Elders meeting in Colorado Springs on January 10, 2002, Cuba was brought up by Bart Pierce, a key apostolic leader from Baltimore. This became a real focus of our discussions. Hence, the following is how the prophets that belong to this particular roundtable addressed the issue of Cuba and Fidel Castro in relationship to the United States and the world. Here is a prophetic summary of the revelation that came forth:

CUBA’S CONDITION — “ALIGN WITH FREEDOM OR ALIGN WITH IRAQ”

This is a time of realignment for Cuba. They must realign with freedom or else they will realign with Iraq. The Spirit of the Lord said, “Cuba is being used as a pawn at this time. However, there is a loop hole in these evil connections.” We prayed to set ambushments so that evil alignments would not occur.

FIDEL CASTRO – HIS LIFE IN THE BALANCE

RIGHT NOW AND HE MUST RESPOND

Castro’s life is standing in the balance right now, and he must respond. Many deep wounds that are in his heart must be addressed and healed now so that the philosophy of communism begins to leave him.

The prophets prayed for 1. a visitation from God before it was too late; 2. a supernatural disconnection from aligning with destructive forces; 3. a supernatural sign that would convince Fidel Castro that Jesus Christ is the only way. We also declared that enemy’s plans would be exposed and Fidel Castro would see his true allies.

FATHERLESSNESS SPIRIT IN FIDEL CASTRO MUST SHIFT NOW

We must be aware that a spirit of Jihad is moving close to our shores even now. Chuck went on to prophesy that the fatherless spirit in Fidel Castro must shift now so that his need of fathering either aligns with Mexico and the U.S., or else the enemy will enter in and cause and alignment toward Iraq, Iran, and Palestine. We declared that the fatherlessness in his heart would be fulfilled with righteousness.

THE MIAMI – CUBA CONNECTION

There is a call of revival in Cuba that is connected with Miami. The largest Hispanic group in Miami is Cuban. Fidel Castro exiled them and drove them out of Cuba over religious, political, and economic issues. When he closed the borders, many escaped and have since become American citizens.

However, a deep wound is in their heart because Castro displaced them and removed their inheritance.

Now a new generation has arisen in Florida. However, this generation is indoctrinated by the wounds of the past generation and they have much bitterness toward Cuba.

THE CUBAN EMBARGO NO LONGER SERVING IT’S PURPOSE

The embargo that has been placed on Cuba has created much bitterness against the United States. It’s time for a shift in relationships! The embargo is no longer serving its original purpose. In fact, over the last seven years there have been many overtures toward Christianity and America from Cuba. Governor Jeb Bush has done much to mend some offensives in the Cuban population of Florida.

It is time for the hate and mistrust toward Cuba to take a shift. The generation of hate and stubbornness is passing, both in Cuba and the U.S.

IMPURE HEARTS IN AMERICAN CONGREGATIONS

We interceded over the impure heart of entire congregations in America who had prayed for Castro’s death. Peter Wagner began to intercede and repent on behalf of the US for the Monroe Doctrine and the exploitation of the past 40 years ago and even more. He asked for forgiveness for things we have done in South America and Mexico as well. He also asked that Mexican President Vicente Fox be able to dialogue with Castro about the Lord.

He then apostolically pronounced an end to the blockade.

IF MEDICINES AND GOODS FLOW INTO CUBA…A PROPHECY ABOUT BUSH AND CASTRO

He declared that the medicines and goods of other nations will flow into Cuba, legally, and the people in Miami will be rejoicing. If this would occur, Dr. Wagner then decreed a picture of President Bush shaking hands with Fidel Castro would appear on the front of USA Today.

BRIDGE BETWEEN MIAMI AND CUBA

Dutch Sheets began to prophesy the following, “I see a bridge between Miami and Cuba and it’s all dilapidated and evil and it’s almost gothic looking and all I see going back and forth between the two is poison. I don’t know of another word to use, other than [infectious] ‘puss.’ And the Lord says ‘Tear that down.’”

We then made a decree that a new bridge would come forth. As the people in Miami repent, economic generosity and revival in Cuba will spring forth. We declared that governments of Cuba and the United States would annihilate the poison-filled bridges of the past. We declared that through prayer journeys, acts of love and kindness, that the bridges of wounds would be torn down and the gate of poison would be stopped.

We declared this gate slammed shut, and we released the purity of the Spirit of God to build a new bridge to the people of Cuba — a bridge upon which life can flow, wounds would be healed, and families reunited. We declared there will be the building of a new bridge!

IF BRIDGE TO CUBA NOT FULLY RESTORED, BIOLOGICAL WEAPONS WILL COME

Chuck Pierce declared that if this did not happen, and the bridge was not restored fully, that there would be an entryway through Key West of biological weapons, and they would pour into the USA. We then declared that the bridge of destruction be demolished. Sharon Stone from England then began to prophesy over the nuclear plant in the Cuban-Miami connection. She declared that any conspiracy of terrorism would be exposed.

HIDDEN DOCUMENTS WILL BE RELEASED

The Spirit of God then allowed the prophets to see documentation in Miami that had been hidden for years released. “I am getting ready to release the hidden documentation. And even as I do, there is going to be a hardness that is even over some Florida-Cubans that will be broken.”

A WORD TO FLORIDA —

“YOU HAVEN’T ALLOWED THE SPIRIT TO DIG DEEP ENOUGH”

And the Lord would say to Florida, “A work has been started there, a digging down deep. But you haven’t allowed the Spirit to dig deep enough. All roots of bitterness must be dealt with completely. I must pull out the taproot. As the intercessors of this nation press in to Me, I will reveal the deepest roots and the strongest roots that are holding open the gates of destruction to this country.

That is the gate that is most open for the most serious terrorist attack, even more serious than on the day of 9-11. And the gate that is open, and I am calling on My intercessors to help close that gate by going to the root, by going to the root, by going to the root, by going to the deepest root and pulling it out.

DEEP REPENTANCE NEEDED IN THIS NATION— TAPROOT OF GREED

For I would not deal only with the fruit above, but with the root below. The whole dealing of this root has to do with a humbling of American government, the State Department policy that has been based upon economics rooted to the greed in this nation. And there must be a deep repentance within this nation, this deep taproot of greed. This taproot of greed is what turned the St. Louis ship of Jewish people who needed refuge in World War II. This root is still there and it is still alive and it must be pulled out or the gate will be open for the enemy to come in. So pull the root out and close the gate” says the Lord.

MIAMI — A TICKING TIME BOMB

Cindy Jacobs then prophesied that Miami is as a ticking time bomb. Unless we make a shift now, the bomb will blow.

JIM GOLL: “GO BACK, GO BACK 40 YEARS AND LOOK . . .”

Jim Goll prophesied the following, “So go back, go back, go back and look 40 years ago in the nation of America. Go back and historically look at the enemies that turned against this nation. And as you look, you will see a cycle that is attempting to be revisited in a magnified manner.

Go back, go back and revisit what occurred a generation ago. Realize this: there was a coming forth with the removal of prayer. There came forth the open door of pluralism; there came forth the rising of the influence of Malcolm X (Black Islam); there came forth the invasion of the attempt of missile invasions. Go back and look at the enemies that were attempting and did bring invasion into this nation 40 years ago. If you will go back and shut these doors by using the testimony of My great Name, then I will reverse the curses that have entered your land. These doors shall be closed and there shall be a capturing of those enemies that have embedded in this nation. There shall be a harvest that will be brought forth out of those enemies that have encroached upon you. Harvest time is now.”

THE NEXT GENERATION IN CUBA, STACIE CAMPBELL PROPHESIED

Stacie Campbell prophesied concerning the next generation in Cuba: “As a new generation arises out of Cuba, that generation that does not choose revolution, but chooses revival for a real healing of the nation, even in times of adversity, that a revival would hit and that in whatever adversity that hits the nation, that signs and wonders would flow…and that generosity would flow. I believe that in the middle of adversity that the Lord would cause revival to come down and that a new generation would arise that does not choose revolution, but chooses revival.”

KEY TO MIAMI — YOUNG PEOPLE FROM CUBA!

Stacie went on to prophesy: “I see revival breaking out in Cuba! I just see it hitting the young people! I see like a fire, falling from Heaven and hitting the young people, and revival breaking out and I see on that bridge.”

Dutch Sheets and Chuck Pierce joined in and declared that young evangelists would be going over to Miami, and that the key to Miami will actually be from Cuba!

Then Stacie continued: “Young evangelists will come out and they will preach the gospel and break the hardness off the hearts of the young Cuban-Miamians, and I see like a sandwich coming from New York to Puerto Ricans in New York and the Cubans in Miami just coming to New York to break open that whole Cuban sub-culture down there. I really believe that the revival in Cuba bridge that comes back is the evangelists. They’re going to preach the gospel in Miami and also from New York and the Puerto Rican community coming from New York.”

GUANTANAMO BAY, CUBA

On October 13, 2001, I received this dream from Peggy Gerst in Houston. She leads Strategic Ministries International, a prayer ministry that focuses on training and leadership . . .

“I was awakened around 5:15 this morning (Saturday) at the end of a dream where we (Strategic Ministries) were all together in the center of continental America, and we were above the ground. We were standing close together with our backs to each other, looking out in all 360 degrees around the nation. Somehow we could see all of the continental U.S. and we were carefully checking to make sure everything was secure. We were active and busy. Robert was with us. With an official, military type confidence Robert said, ‘Every state is secure except Guantanamo Bay.’ An old song had been playing in my head/dream during all this that has a Latin beat (pardon spelling here) ‘Guantanemera. Guajila Guantanemera. Guantanemeeera. Guajila Guantanemera.’ Anybody remember that? I looked at him and thought, Is that a state?, and woke up.

I immediately sensed this had to do with the current events in America. I Went to the internet and discovered that the only U.S. military base on communist soil is at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Cuba is southeast of Houston. SMI has begun to research Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. I found out after you called that Guantanemera, Guajilla, Guantanemera (words to the background music in the Cuba dream) is a town in a state in Colombia, South America. Not too far from Cuba.”

GOD REVEALED GUANTANAMO ISSUE MONTHS AHEAD OF TIME

As you can see, God had revealed the issue of Guantanamo Bay many months before the decision to bring detainees there occurred. This dream should intensify our burden to be praying for Cuba. Many intercessors have been focused on Cuba for the past three to five years.

After reviewing this dream I have concluded that there must be an awareness between the hostility in Colombia and its relationship to Cuba. The hostility that is now centered in Guantanamo Bay will connect with other hostile spirits in an attempt to break out and target freedom.

In the past year much intensity occurred in prayer over this nation and its relationship to the U.S. In April 2001, when Cindy Jacobs, Barbara Yoder, and I were the guest speakers for the Watchmen conference at Christian International, we began to prophesy about Key West, Florida and the entryway of Cuba into the United States. Bishop Bill Hamon led a team to Key West and prayed, prophesied, and held meetings in key places in September of this past year. Therefore, the prophets and intercessors are focused on the above prophecies.

If we pray now for Cuba, the influence Cuba has in Miami, New Orleans, Houston, and Mobile will not end in destruction, but in glory!
